At Sketch Creative, we love any excuse to celebrate, and in September we did it in style at Flight Club in Birmingham. Picture a group of creatives letting loose with some friendly darts competition, plenty of laughter, and a good mix of skill (and not-so-much skill!). It’s safe to say the team needed this after hitting some big milestones recently, and Flight Club was the perfect spot to unwind and have some fun together.

One of the biggest surprises of the night? Our newest recruit, Jim, showing up and completely owning the dartboard! He’s only been with us a short time, but his energy and enthusiasm have already made him an incredible addition. That said, none of us were expecting him to take the crown in his first team outing! It was beginner’s luck, or maybe he’s just a natural – but either way, Jim had us all cheering (and a little jealous!) by the end of the night.

These monthly outings aren’t just for fun – they’re a big part of what keeps our team strong. After a busy month of hitting client targets and pushing creative boundaries, it’s so important to take a step back and celebrate those wins. Whether we’re chatting about the projects we’ve just nailed or sharing a laugh over who missed the dartboard entirely, it’s moments like these that keep us connected and motivated.

As mid-October rolls around, we’re excited about what’s ahead – both in our work and our upcoming social events. With Jim’s recent stellar performance, it’s clear we’ve got plenty of competition and fun to look forward to. Here’s to hitting more targets, both on the dartboard and in the office!
